Tyrrell County Schools has finalized plans to make investments in curriculum programs over the coming months. The Board of Education reviewed accountability information and program information in September and October and endorsed the new initiatives at their Monday meeting. Investments include a new mathematics curriculum K-8, all new benchmark assessments through Case 21, instructional coaching and training through NC New Schools at CMS, new and upgraded novel sets for ELA classrooms, a leveled reading book room for Guided Reading at TES, and upgrading our Fundations decoding program at TES.
