Tyrrell County Schools hosts K12 Standard Response Protocol (SRP) National Safety Training

The SRP is a safety lockdown model that Tyrrell County Schools are adopting for the entire school district. The model provides consistent, clear, shared language and actions among all students, staff, and first responders.

The training session was facilitated by a representative from the “I Love U Guys” Foundation. The session covered the five possible actions of the SRP: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate and Shelter.

Lunch was provided to all registered attendees at no cost.
