The Tyrrell County Schools Leadership Retreat is a time for our district leaders to come together, learn from each other, and bond as a team. This year's retreat was held from July 31st to August 1st at the College of the Albemarle's Manteo campus. We kicked off with Dr. Hal Halloman, Professor of Educational Leadership at ECU who shared his insights on leadership and education and promoting vitality and preventing burnout throughout school communities. We are grateful to all of our leaders who participated in the retreat. We believe that the time we spent together will help us to create a better future for our students!
