The Tyrrell County Board of Education is proud to announce Ms. Brianna S. Williams as the new Superintendent of Tyrrell County Schools!
A native of Hyde County, Ms. Williams brings over 22 years of experience in public education, having served as a teacher, coach, principal, and district administrator. Most recently, she has served Tyrrell County Schools as Columbia Early College High School Principal and Director of Curriculum & Instruction — roles that have deepened her connection to our students, staff, and families.
Ms. Williams shared, “I am sincerely appreciative of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lead Tyrrell County Schools. Northeast North Carolina is home for me, and I look forward to raising the bar for student achievement and ensuring instructional excellence in every classroom.”
