Her story reads like a Hallmark Original Movie, "Home Is Where the Heart Is". A former teacher assistant at CMS, where she learned the foundation of pedagogy, Kristen Davenport is coming home to Tyrrell Elementary School. She will be joining a stellar staff, including new principal Angela Tyler, in which both share the same mission; help students succeed. As a TA and a teacher, Kristen has used those experiences to allow her to work closely with teachers and instructional specialists supporting lesson implementation, classroom management, and the development of individualized student learning plans. She has gained valuable experience reinforcing academic concepts, assisting with instructional materials, and maintaining a positive, organized classroom environment that enabled students to thrive. We look forward to the ideas, innovation, and instruction that Ms. Davenport will bring to her classroom.
