TCS BOE Meeting Notification

The Tyrrell County Schools Board of Education will meet on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 6:30pm.

The meeting will be held at Central Office located at 1107 Hwy 64 East Columbia, NC.

TCS Special Called Meeting Notification

Board Meeting Scheduled for 1/10/22 POSTPONED

Modified Lockdown ALL CLEAR from Local Law Enforment - All Schools Releasing as Normal

2 Hour Delay - Tuesday, January 4, 2022

As a result of freezing conditions overnight, Tyrrell County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Mandatory Staff Workday - Monday, January 3, 2022

As a result of projected adverse weather conditions for our areas tomorrow, Monday, January 3rd, 2022 will be a Mandatory Staff Workday for all staff members. Students will return on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Masks Optional for TCS

The Tyrrell County Schools Board of Education voted this evening to make masks optional, effective immediately. This DOES INCLUDE Pre-K students. Masks must still be worn on school provided transportation.

CANCELLED BOE Meeting

The Tyrrell County Schools Board of Education meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 7th has been cancelled.
