Tyrrell County Schools (TCS) is proud to announce significant academic progress across the district, aligning with the positive trends seen in North Carolina's 2023-24 Accountability Report. The district has achieved notable growth in reading, math, and science, with two out of three schools exceeding growth expectations.

Today, on Patriot Day, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. This day serves as a solemn reminder of the tragic events that forever changed our nation.

We honor the bravery of first responders who risked their lives to save others and the resilience of our communities in the face of adversity. Let us come together to reflect on the values of compassion, unity, and strength that define us as a nation.
