Sandy Hook Promise: Gun violence warning signs

Sandy Hook Promise is a nonprofit organization formed in Newtown, CT, following the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings. The organization aims to stop gun violence and emphasizes knowing the signs that can lead to violence.

Tyrrell County Schools participates in the Start With Hello Week, which is
dedicated to making new social connections and creating a sense of belonging
among youth under the Sandy Hook Promise.

School Counselors are master’s level trained and certified school personnel who develop (in consultation with school administrators and staff) and deliver a school counseling program.  This program:

Helps students develop competencies in the academic, career, and personal/social domains
